Analisis Kesalahan Peserta Didik dalam Menyelesaikan Soal pada Materi Perbandingan

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to describe the form of errors made by students in the high, medium, and low categories in solving the mid-semester test questions on comparative material. The research subjects were students of class VII C SMP Muhammadiyah Sawojajar Brebes as many as 32 students. After the test, 6 research subjects were selected based on the high category, medium category, and low category. The data collection method is using test, interview and documentation techniques. The results showed that the subjects with high criteria, namely T-1 and T-2, had solved the problem on the comparison material correctly. So that the subjects T-1 and T-2 did not have errors in solving problems on comparative material. Subjects with moderate criteria, namely S-1 and S-2, have errors in the form of: a) Comprehension Errors, b) Transformation Errors, c) Process Skill Errors, and d ) Encoding Errors. Subjects with low criteria, namely R-1 and R-2, have errors in the form of: a) Reading Errors, b) Comprehension Errors, c) Transformation Errors, d) Ability Errors Processing (Process Skill Errors), and e) Encoding Errors.
