IRONI DALAM ACARA TELEVISI “LAPOR PAK!” EPISODE ANIES BASWEDAN DAN IMPLIKASINYA PADA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DI SMA

Abstrak

The purpose of this study is to describe the type of irony in the television show Lapor Pak! episode
Anies Baswedan and describe its implications for Indonesian language learning in senior high school.
The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach using qualitative descriptions. The source of
this research data is the television show Lapor Pak! episode Anies Baswedan. The form of data in this
study is in the form of speech at the Lapor Pak! episode Anies Baswedan. The data collection techniques
used in this study are the free conversation listening technique and the note taking technique. The data
analysis technique in this study were used the pragmatic comparison method. The result of this study is
that there are 21 irony data, with verbal irony as is 8 data, situational irony is 5 data, and dramatic
irony is 8 data. The implications of the research results on Indonesian learning in senior high school
class XI semester I with KD 3.9 analyzed the elements of short story builders in a short story collection
book. The suggestion in this study is that irony can be used as learning to better understand the
application of irony style and can also choose the language style used to communicate.
