VARIASI FONOLOGI DAN LEKSIKON PADA PENGGUNAAN DIALEK PEMALANGSERTA IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA DI SMA

Abstract

This study aims to determine the variation of phonology and lexicon in the use of the
Pemalang dialect and the implications of language learning in high school. The data
used are quote sentence in the Pemalang dialect conversation. Meanwhile, the analysis
techniquesthe author used are tapping techniques(teknik sadap), observing techniques
without getting involved in a conversation (teknik simak bebas libat cakap), and record
techniques(teknik catat) with the approach of the identity method (metode padan). The
resultsshowed that: (1)there are phonological variationsin the type of sound/phoneme
changes and phoneme distribution; (2) there are 90 lexicon variations found in the
Pemalang dialect, and; (3) the application of implications on basic competence 4.10
conveying submissions, offers, approvals, and closing in negotiating text speech or
writing on language learning in high school.
