BILINGUALISME TUTURAN PADA MASYARAKAT PETUNJUNGAN KECAMATAN BULAKAMBA KABUPATEN BREBES DAN IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DI SMA

Abstract
This study aims to describe the level of compound, coordinate, and subordinate bilingualism in the
speech community of the Petunjungan and the implications of the research results on Indonesian
language learning in senior high school. Descriptive qualitative approach are used in this study.
This study used Simak or speaking method to collect the data. The data collection techniques used in
this study were Teknik Sadap, followed by Teknik Simak Bebas Libat Cakap (SBLC), and Teknik Catat
as the advanced techniques. Informal method was used to present the results of the data analysis.
The results of this study indicate that there are three classifications of bilingualism levels, which are (1)
Subordinate bilingualism level, (2) Coordinate bilingualism level, and (3) Compound bilingualism level.
The study results can be implied in Indonesian language learning in odd semester of eleventh grade of
senior high school, namely in KD 3.2 analyzing the structure and language features of procedure text.
