Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine: 1) the effect of leader member exchange on employee performance, 2) the effect of work discipline on employee performance; 3) the effect of quality of work life on employee performance; 4) the influence of leader member exchange on organizational commitment; 5) the effect of work discipline on organizational commitment, 6). the effect of quality of work life on organizational commitment; 7) the effect of organizational commitment on employee performance; 8) the effect of leader member exchange on employee performance with organizational commitment as a mediator; 9) the effect of work discipline on employee performance with organizational commitment as a mediator; 10) the effect of quality of work life on employee performance with organizational commitment as a mediator. The sample of this research is all employees of the Regional Secretariat of Tegal City, totaling 130 employees with the sampling technique using saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique in this study was a questionnaire. The data analysis techniques of this research are validity and reliability tests, descriptive statistics and PLS analysis.
