Trimitra Trans Persada is a logistics transportation company tasked with distributing goods to Alfamart stores with demands for on-time and safe delivery. However, the distribution process often faces obstacles such as inefficient routes, which can lead to longer distances and longer delivery times. This study was conducted at PT. Trimitra Trans Persada Distribution Center Tegal with the aim of optimizing distribution routes using the saving matrix method. Based on actual data from the delivery schedule on March 17, 2024, the company's initial route using 4 trucks resulted in a total distance of 157 km by transporting 990 boxes. By implementing the nearest neighbor-based saving matrix method, the total distance was successfully optimized to 132.6 km, a reduction of 24.4 km. This reduction in distance shows the potential for significant efficiency in distribution, which can reduce operational costs and delivery times. The results of this study emphasize the importance of improving distribution routes to minimize inefficiencies and support better logistics performance.
2025-02-05T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Snatips https://semnas.upstegal.ac.id/index.php/SNaTIPs/article/view/1312 ANALYSIS OF SUPPLIER SELECTION USING THE ANALYTICAL HIERARCHY PROCESS (AHP) METHOD AT PT. With these problems, PT TRC needs to improve the vendor selection mechanism. The AHP (Analytical Hierarcy Process) method can be used as a tool to carry out the vendor selection process, so that the selected vendor is truly in accordance with the criteria set.Interview findings are the primary data source. Secondary data includes supplier information for raw materials, supplier selection and evaluation criteria, and company profile information. After obtaining the necessary data, supplier prioritization is determined through data processing using the AHP approach. The optimal supplier priorities are determined by analyzing the results of data processing. All criteria have a CR value below 0.1 in the AHP calculation, according to the results of the AHP calculation for each of the criteria mentioned above. If the CR value is below 0.1, the calculation can proceed to the next step. The results of pairwise comparison weights between suppliers on each criterion are multiplied by the sum of the results and weights of pairwise comparisons between criteria in the next calculation step. Based on the results of calculations using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, it can be concluded that the selection of suppliers carried out through the evaluation of quality, price, and delivery time criteria results in a clear priority order. In the data collection stage, two members of the purchasing staff provided information through a questionnaire, which was then used to compile a pairwise comparison matrix between criteria and between suppliers.
2025-02-05T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Snatips https://semnas.upstegal.ac.id/index.php/SNaTIPs/article/view/1313 ANALISIS PENYEBAB KERUSAKAN PADA MESIN BOILER DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE FAILURE MODE AND EFFECT ANALYSIS (FMEA) (Studi Kasus : PT. The production process involves five departments: sawmill, roughmill, machining, assembling, and packing. Employees working in industrial environments, particularly in production, frequently face occupational risks both during and after work. These risks often stem from job demands, leading to injuries or musculoskeletal complaints. This issue is particularly prevalent among double planer machine operators who perform repetitive tasks like bending and lifting. To address or minimize these complaints, it is crucial to improve work posture. The Ovako Working Analysis System (OWAS) method will be employed to assess and analyze work posture. The findings revealed that prior to improvements, the work posture for loading materials into the machine using wooden pallets positioned below knee height received an OWAS code of 2173-3. This indicates that the operator's back posture was bent forward and backward, both arms were at shoulder level, the feet were moving or shifting, and the operator was lifting loads between 10 and 20 kilograms, highlighting the need for immediate corrective action. In contrast, when the pallet height was adjusted to above knee level, the OWAS code improved to 1122-1, signifying no need for further improvement. To address the issue, a roller table was introduced as a work aid to reduce the operator's burden. Following this intervention, the work posture score improved to 1121-1, representing a normal posture with very low risk.
2025-02-05T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Snatips https://semnas.upstegal.ac.id/index.php/SNaTIPs/article/view/1319 QUALITY CONTROL OF BZ370 INSTRUMENT PANEL MOUNTING BRACKET PRODUCTION USING FAILURE MODES EFFECTS AND ANALYSIS (FMEA) METHOD AT PT. Ahmadaris Tegal prioritizes product quality as a top priority to maintain consumer trust and meet strict quality standards in the health sector. Improving product quality is essential to maintain competitiveness in the market and meet customer demand that increasingly demands high standards in health products. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the quality control of gauze products using the Six Sigma method, identify the main causes of product rejects, and provide suggestions for improvements that can be implemented by the company to reduce the reject rate by conducting basic mentality training for operators to reduce human error. The data used in this study are the company's monthly production reports from January to June 2023. During that period, the total production of gauze reached 251,530 kg, with the number of reject products amounting to 4,003 kg. Based on the analysis using the Six Sigma method, the sigma level obtained was at the level of 2,48. This figure shows that there is a potential quality loss of 16,695 kg per million units of production produced. PT. Sadiyah Cahaya Metalam, located in Tegal, Central Java, is a manufacturer of Plate Stand Tread that faces competitive market competition. One of the company's main challenges is ensuring efficient inventory management, including managing the lead time for raw material orders, monitoring inventory, and cooperating with suppliers. The instability of raw material availability often affects the smooth production process, causes delays in product delivery to customers, and risks lowering the company's reputation and losing potential revenue. This study aims to analyze the most appropriate sales forecasting methods to anticipate market demand and support effective inventory management. Data is collected through direct observation of the production process, in-depth interviews with production and inventory managers, and literature studies to support the analysis. Three forecasting methods are applied, namely Moving Average, Weighted Moving Average, and Exponential Smoothing, to evaluate performance based on accuracy and efficiency. The results of the analysis show that the Weighted Moving Average method has the best performance with a Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD) value of 5.096, a Mean Squared Error (MSE) of 40.751, and a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 5.725%. Based on this method, sales of Plate Stand Tread in January 2024 are projected to be 91 units. This method was chosen because it is able to provide the most accurate results in predicting market demand, thus helping companies avoid the risk of shortages or excess inventory. This research contributes to inventory management practices in the manufacturing sector by emphasizing the importance of selecting the right forecasting method to optimize the production process and maintain customer satisfaction.
