Abstract

The aim of the research is to analyze operator complaints and analyze packaging operators in their work positions before and after repairing work facilities using the Quick Exposure Checklist (QEC) method. This QEC is a method for assessing occupational risks involving muscle disorders in the workplace. In addition, it also assesses risk disorders in the neck, wrist, arms or shoulders and in the back of the back. The results of this research from 3 packaging operators with long working postures (sitting position) produced respective Exposure Levels of 59.25%, 64.19%, 65.43% with an average of 62.96% and obtained Exposure Levels in the range worth >70%. This shows the need for further research and the need to make changes to the work station. The results of the improvements obtained show that 3 packaging operators with a new working posture (standing position) produced respective Exposure levels of 35.80%, 22.22%, 22.22% with an average of 26.75% and obtained Exposure Levels in the range worth >40%. Exposure Level Results before repair and after repair produce an average difference of 36.21%.
