Abstract
Raw material inventory is an important element in company operations, especially in the manufacturing sector such as PT. Varia Concrete Business. As a concrete producer, this company faces challenges in managing raw materials originating from natural resources with a high level of stock uncertainty. This uncertainty often causes problems with excess or shortage of inventory which results in increased operational costs. This study analyzes the gross requirements for concrete raw materials using the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) method. The analysis results show that the application of the MRP method is able to ensure the availability of raw materials and components needed in the production process which is implemented through POM-QM software. The POM-QM software itself is a tool designed to assist decision making in operations and quantitative management, including calculating Material Requirements Planning (MRP). By using the MRP module in POM-QM, users can easily plan and manage material requirements based on the input provided.
