Abstract
The textile industry faces tough competition in the global market, where production efficiency, cost reduction and product quality are the main factors. This research analyzes the sarong production process at PT XYZ to identify waste using Lean Manufacturing principles. Data collection methods include direct observation and employee interviews. Tools such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Process Activity Mapping (PAM) are used to identify in-efficiencies. The research results showed that there were defects in the coloring process, inventory buildup, and excessive work movements due to less than optimal layout. Recommendations such as improving process management and quality control aim to reduce waste and increase operational efficiency.
