Sadiyah Cahaya Logam itself is one of the metal industry centers engaged in the field of automotive part processing, located at Jalan Talang No. 380 RT.10/02 Talang District, Tegal Regency, Central Java Province. The products produced vary greatly according to the specifications desired by customers, such as cable holders, separators, engine brackets and others. However, in its implementation there are still inefficiencies in production and there are still defects in the Brake Pedal STP RF – 16900 KS product. Based on these problems, the author took steps to fix this problem so that production becomes more efficient and reduces product defects. Thus, the company can reduce production time, as well as maximize worker time and energy through the implementation of lean manufacturing. This study aims to improve the efficiency of the Bridge-Brake Pedal STP RF-16900 KS production process at PT. Sadiyah Cahaya Logam with a focus on reducing waiting time. Through the application of lean manufacturing, this study uses the value stream mapping method and finds that Process Activities Mapping (PAM) is the most appropriate tool for identifying and analyzing activities that cause wastage of time. The results of the analysis show the highest score for PAM of 507, which indicates great potential for improvement.
